--- Comment #1 from Petr Gajdos ---
First of all, common ssl instructions was moved to /etc/apache2/ssl-global.conf
via
* Mon Apr 14 2014 lnussel@suse.de
- move most ssl options to ssl-global.conf. There is usually no need
for every vhost to re-define the ciphers for example (bnc#865582).
Drop some commented entries that only lead to confusion.
See factory version of apache.
If I understand correctly, what remains in /etc/apache2/default-vhost-ssl.conf
and also in /etc/apache2/default-vhost.conf is vhost specific settings and
these two files should be treated as templates (in the contrary to
default-server.conf).
Nevertheless, it seems we have such templates yet,
/etc/apache2/vhosts.d/vhost-ssl.template and
/etc/apache2/vhosts.d/vhost.template respectively.
So these could be merged to vhosts.d/vhost{,-ssl}.template?
