The behaviour is most probably caused by the "nofail" option in your home
mount.
See the systemd.mount manpage for details:

If nofail is given, this mount will be only wanted, not required, by the
local-fs.target. This means that the boot will continue even if this mount
point is not mounted successfully. Option fail has the opposite meaning and is
the default.

The password request might still be open, but the boot is continued and
therefore the prompt is not visible anymore.
Can you please remove the "nofail" option and check wheter this works
afterwards?
