https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883002 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883002#c0 Summary: Seamonkey email client doesn't report ocsp failure Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Ralf.Friedl@online.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 I have renewed the server certificate of my imap server. For some reason the CA doesn't have the certificate on their ocsp server for some time. When seamonkey connects to the server it starts a SSL connection, then queries the ocsp server and immediately closes the SSL connection. But the user interface just shows a busy mouse pointer in the folder pane and no indication of the problem. I just spent more than an hour with openssl s_client and tcpdump to find out why I can't connect to the imap server. The error console also doesn't contain any information regarding this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. IMAP Server with new certificate 2. Connect to IMAP Server Actual Results: Seamonkey seems to hang with a busy mouse pointer in the folder pane. Expected Results: Seamonkey should report the ocsp failure. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
