https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=853379 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=853379#c3 --- Comment #3 from Mark Draheim <rickscafe.casablanca@gmx.net> 2014-06-12 21:34:04 UTC --- Yes, I use qemu-2.0.0-240.6.x86_64 from Virtualization repo. I a closer look at my smb problems shows that I now hit this one: qemu: smbd forked by qemu uses global directory /var/run/samba/ncalrpc https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=728876 though the last comment here https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=747636#15 is probably right in that qemu upstream needs to rework the whole smb portion of its code. I doubt that this will happen soon, if at all. The internal smb feature seems to be a rarely used feature. Anyway, thanks for having a look. I will try to make 2.0.0 work with samba4 smbd over the weekend and report back any findings. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
