Might there be a recommended way to auto-create a "proper" /etc/fstab?
That is, without going through the trauma of manually creating one which
*might* screw the system? There must be a command, surely, something like:
$> auto_fstab_from_existing_mounts > /etc/fstab
And before anyone smart says "just copy your mtab file", I'd like to point out
that my old mtab and my old fstab have wildly different content, so I certainly
don't trust the cut'n'paste approach. That's why I'm asking politely for an
"auto-create" solution, maybe, please...?
