Hello,
am I reporting the same issue like you?:
audio-out master channel eg.:[internal speaker|headphone|speaker] not propperly
selected, whenever being plugged in, or unplugged.
Whenever I unplug the cable, I get no sound from my notebook's internal
speakers, until I adjust the volume on channel Headphones in mixer. In other
words, channel Headphones gets muted, after the speaker's cable gets unplugged.
Additionally,
Channel "Headphones" in mixer adjusts volume for internal speakers, if there is
nothing plugged in, or any other speaker after being plugged in. It is
basically like another master channel, or PCM.
What I did to correct, was that
- I tried different models in /etc/modprobe.d/50-sound.conf , as found in
/usr/src/linux-3.11.10-7/Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio-Models.txt
the models that I tried in modprobe.d were: laptop-amic, laptop-dmic,
alc269-dmic , and
- I ran the alsa-compile.sh script from alsa homepage.
- I tried out to disable Pulse Audio in YaST, which only corrected a no-sound
issue occering after every reboot.
My configuration is: snd-hda-intel, ALC269VB
on Asus EeePC 1001PX (there is only one universal connector for plugging in
mic, or headphones, etc.)
I had no sound issues on previous distros I had.
