One more thing you could try.
shim in openSUSE is attached both MS and openSUSE signatures.
Some older UEFI implementations do not support multi-signature in one EFI file,
and shim may fail in this case.
You could detach the openSUSE signature with the following commands:
1. install pesign and mozilla-nss-tools
2. $ mkdir certdb ; certutil -N -d certdb/
(you will be requested to input a password, just press enter and ignore it.)
3. $ pesign -n certdb -r -u 1 -i /usr/lib64/efi/shim.efi -o shim-1-sig.efi
4. replace shim.efi in /boot/efi/EFI/opensuse/ with shim-1-sig.efi
If this trick works for you, then it means the firmware needs an update for a
proper support of Secure Boot.
