--- Comment #15 from Carsten Ziepke 2014-02-12 11:53:58 UTC ---
In
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/openSUSE-12.3/standard/x86...
is still a version from 2014/02/07 3.7.10-87.1.g37b730a, so think this is not
the fixed one.
But i did some further investigations:
The server_2 (with assumed NFSv2, SUSE 7.3) is also capable NFSv3 (UDP only) -
my fault.
Client openSUSE 12.3 64bit 3.7.10-1.28
#rpcdebug -m nfs -s all
nfs vfs dircache lookupcache pagecache proc xdr file root callback
client mount fscache pnfs pnfs_ld state
#mount -v server_2:/export /mnt

Now with mount option "udp"
# mount -v server_2:/export /mnt -o udp

It works the same with mount option "nfsvers=3"
openSUSE 13.1 with kernel 3.11.10-7.1 also has a problem with UDP only NFSv3:
Server with NFSv3 UPD only:
#mount -v server_2:/export /mnt
mount.nfs: timeout set for Wed Feb 12 12:50:14 2014
mount.nfs: trying text-based options
'vers=4,addr=192.168.0.100,clientaddr=192.168.0.50'
mount.nfs: mount(2): Connection refused (and so on...)
Now with mount option "udp":
#mount -v server_2:/export /mnt -o udp
mount.nfs: timeout set for Wed Feb 12 12:53:32 2014
mount.nfs: trying text-based options
'udp,vers=4,addr=192.168.0.100,clientaddr=192.168.0.50'
mount.nfs: mount(2): Protocol not supported
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'udp,addr=192.168.0.100'

mount.nfs: trying 192.168.0.100 prog 100003 vers 3 prot UDP port 2049
mount.nfs: prog 100005, trying vers=3, prot=17
mount.nfs: trying 192.168.0.100 prog 100005 vers 3 prot UDP port 32772
Server with NFSv3 UDP and TCP:
#mount -v server_3:/export /mnt
mount.nfs: timeout set for Wed Feb 12 12:51:53 2014
mount.nfs: trying text-based options
'vers=4,addr=192.168.0.60,clientaddr=192.168.0.50'
mount.nfs: mount(2): Operation not permitted
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'addr=192.168.0.60'
mount.nfs: prog 100003, trying vers=3, prot=6
mount.nfs: trying 192.168.0.60 prog 100003 vers 3 prot TCP port 2049
mount.nfs: prog 100005, trying vers=3, prot=17
mount.nfs: trying 192.168.0.60 prog 100005 vers 3 prot UDP port 827
Should i do a new bugreport for openSUSE 13.1?
