The simple fact the cups.socket still has "wanted-by: socket.target" causing it
be enabled regardless on your recent spec-file experiments. Of course I can get
it to work if I follow what you had in mind: disable cups.socket and just use
cups.service. I could have used the ages-old init script for the same results.
But this is defeating the purpose of systemd, you want socket activation.
Therefore it's best to just fix cups.socket and rather than rambling about
"secure defaults". BTW. this is magically matching what other users have
proposed so far.
So could we please stop the prose proliferation and discuss my submit request
inside OBS? I don't want 30 more useless comments nor decline reasons that show
lacking understanding. So it couldn't hurt if others take a look at it too.
