https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=861051 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=861051#c0 Summary: "Bad interpreter" when trying to execute something from a 9p mount share in kvm Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rhafer@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Development Blocker: --- I've added a shared folder to a kvm instance (using the 9p filesystem). Both the host and the VM are openSUSE 13.1 installations with all the latest updates installed. When I try to execute a shell script that's stored inside the shared folder in the VM I get this: linux-qto6:~/shared-folder> bin/disk-image-create -bash: bin/disk-image-create: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: Numerical result out of range I found a couple of more references to this on the net. Seems to be an issue with the 3.11.X kernel: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36992 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1242211 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
