https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=859358 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=859358#c0 Summary: Atheros AR9271 stops working several minutes after suspend/resume Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dhwprof@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 Since upgrading from 12.3 to 13.1, my Think Penguin Wireless N USB Adapter /w External Antenna for GNU / Linux TPE-N150USBL (Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n) stops working several minutes after a suspend/resume. NetworkManager doesn't detect a disconnect, but no traffic is passed. Unloading and reloading the ath9k_htc module after the resume (but before the problem occurs) often prevents the problem, but not always. After the problem occurs, unplugging and replugging the USB cable will start things working again, but after that the unloading and reloading of ath9k_htc will not prevent the problem until after a reboot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot a system with a TPE-N150USBL (or, presumably, any AR9271-based adapter) connected. 2. Suspend the system. 3. Resume the system and use the network. Actual Results: Within 15-20 minutes, the adapter will stop working. Expected Results: The adapter should continue to work. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
