Hi
Well the wireless did not work at all in openSUSE 12.3 on that system (HP
Probok 6360b)
I was using wired network... so maybe the hwinfo from above is not correct...
Anyway, I did a fres install of openSUSE 13.1 :-) and when it got stuck I tried
the hwinfo --netcard, but it didn't work it got stuck too in the "get net
info".
then I rebooted and said "no" to "try again"... and after that I did run the
hwinfo --netcard with this results:

And now I can see that openSUSE 13.1 detect a "Broadcom WLAN Controller" and
not just a "Broadcom Network Controller" as in 12.3.
Hope this info can help...
