Xorg.0.log.old freeze on boot
A few days before I had a very rarely freeze on boot.
So it was possible to take a look at the Xorg.0.log.old after next system
start.
Last log line is "Automatically enabling devices"
Hope it's helpful to find the real reason for the freezes.
Question: is it possible to log the shutdown ?
Freezes mostly happen during shutdown / logout.
Btw. I never had before any freeze problems with former versions of openSuSE.
Three weeks ago I received an old computer as a gift.
Of course I installed openSuSE 12.2 for testing at this computer.
This machine own an old SIS chipset and a nvidia graphics card.
System is also freezing very often at this machine.
Because the problem still exist in openSuSE 12.3 ( see comment 15 ) an update
is useless.
Until now I experienced this bug on three different computers.
I'm thankful for any advice.
