--- Comment #25 from Neil Rickert 2013-10-13 22:03:28 UTC ---
I obtained boot.kiwi, as described in comment 23
I had to recreate the USB. Before using it, I did: "parted /dev/sdd print"
# parted /dev/sdd print
^M
^MEr
ror: Invalid partition table - recursive partition on /dev/sdd.

Model: WDC WD80 0JB-00ETA0 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sdd: 80.0GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: unknown
I then did "fdisk -l /dev/sdd"
# fdisk -l /dev/sdd
Disk /dev/sdd: 80.0 GB, 80026361856 bytes
64 heads, 32 sectors/track, 76319 cylinders, total 156301488 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0xd07298c3
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdd1 * 0 1808383 904192 83 Linux

After retrieving "kiwi.log", I tried: "parted /dev/sdb print" (the USB was
"sdb")
Model: WDC WD80 0JB-00ETA0 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sdb: 80.0GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: loop
Number Start End Size File system Flags
1 0.00B 80.0GB 80.0GB ext3
----------
Note that the USB is an 80G IDE drive in an external USB enclosure.
