Hi AL, do you think that we need to update to obex-data-server 1.7 or up.
Unlikely. more likely, the 'obex' service, part of bluez package, is not properly enabled. Enabling the service (well, did not really manage to do so, fcrozat might help out here; I simulated by launching /usr/lib/bluetooth/obexd) allowed me to send a file TO my phone (not FROM pohone). @fcrozat: how to enable, by default a systemd-managed dbus service in user context? (the service file is installed in /usr/lib/systemd/user/obex.service). The 'dbus' service file itself contains
cat /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.bluez.obex.service [D-BUS Service] Name=org.bluez.obex Exec=/bin/false SystemdService=dbus-org.bluez.obex.service
(so is not usable on its own). the dbus service contains:
cat /usr/lib/systemd/user/obex.service [Unit] Description=Bluetooth OBEX service
[Service] Type=dbus BusName=org.bluez.obex ExecStart=/usr/lib/bluetooth/obexd [Install] Alias=dbus-org.bluez.obex.service The 'standard' way of systemctl enable obex.service does not work. Injecting --user works from a user session, but not from the install scriptlets. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
