--- Comment #9 from Scott Couston 2013-08-01 18:13:32 EST ---
Occurs in 12.3 tested.
If we are ever going to fix this I dont understand why the kernel itself cannot
continuously and dynamically connect, reconnect or discover anything changes in
any Network Drives.
Instead of running a subordinate service to the kernel to start Network
Discovery and Mount Network Drives we could fix this for perpetuity by having
the kernel continuing to check for New/Current/No Longer Present Network Drives
mount or dismount them accordingly.
I think new thinking is needed for NFS, to change our current GUI front
screen's in Yast which only serve to circumvent a console commands and write
auto changes to /etc/fstab.
Jiri, can you please give thought on changing the direction of NFS in 13.x and
possibly reassign to kernel development
As I am half a world away and at GMT +10, I wish I could join in on so much
more and be more helpful than testing and new thoughts
