This kernel is fine in terms of idle GPU handling but fails when sampling audio via USB. $summary happens after 30 to 50 minutes of audio sampling with 'Audio Recorder'. Switching back from 3.9.2-1.g04040b9-default to 3.7.10-1.4-default fixes this. Immediately before, the following line appears in /var/log/messages: ALSA hda_intel.c:2398 0000:00:1b.0: Unstable LPIB (352796 >= 176400); disabling LPIB delay counting Observed effects: - 'Audio Recorder' completely freezes - 'Audio Recorder' can't be stopped (stuck in locking call to kernel) - Shutdown doesn't work since "Store Sound Card State" (alsa-store.service) fails to complete -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
