https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=815183 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=815183#c0 Summary: install error by using ham radio package libuhd (+osmosdr + gnuradio) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bgerz@gmx.net QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 I was including ham radio packages into my susestudio live images(x86 and x86_64) and it was ok for a long time. I need "gnuradio", "osmosdr" and uhd("libuhd003") driver package. Around 2 weeks ago I got a installation problem only on x86, but now it fails also on x86_64. The build error says:error: %pre(libuhd003-3.5.1-1.1.i586) scriptlet failed, exit status 127 error: libuhd003-3.5.1-1.1.i586: install failed The hamradio repository is "Hamradio 12.3" URL: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/hamradio/openSUSE_12.3/ Last sync: 2013-04-14 sync now Packages:346 You can try to remove/reinclude the packages on my appliance http://susestudio.com/appliance/edit/923660#/software It would be nice to get it working again, because software defined radio is very populare now. Such software is also populare on raspberry pi now (arm platform). It does use a DVB-T USB stick as universal radio receiver (with raspberry pi usable via network connection). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.create a susestudio x86 opensuse 12.3 appliance or look to my susestudio appliance 923660(32bit) or 922965(64bit) for the log or testing 2.add "Hamradio 12.3" repository http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/hamradio/openSUSE_12.3/ 3.add gnuradio, osmosdr, libuhd003 Actual Results: Live images failed to build and most time I get a error log(search for uhd) A week ago I got a error only on x86, but not on x86_64 Expected Results: susestudio should get this important hamradio package working again. I hope there are still radio amateurs in suse. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
