Thanks. There is really no difference between them, especially "Headphone
Jack" control still shows it being plugged. It means that the jack detection
doesn't work well on your machine by some reason.
For verifying it, please try the following:
- Install alsa-tools.rpm if not installed yet
- Run hda-verb program as root like:
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x11 GET_PIN_SENSE 0
and see whether the output changes when you plug and unplug the headphone
jack.
- If it doesn't change the value reliably, try to run
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x11 SET_PIN_SENSE 0
before each execution of GET_PIN_SENSE above.
