I used the installer to perform an "upgrade" to the same version, and now it boots. I didn't change anything.. I just let it detect the old settings and run. I'm using whichever boot-loader is the current default. Honestly, the existence of grub2 was something of a surprise to me. But YaST2 was telling me I was using grub2. Hopefully you can reproduce this by performing a similar procedure. (I hope from within an emulator.) Install, fdisk a second drive with the same layout, file copy, then try to install the boot-loader from rescue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
