I agree with Virgil. I have the same issue and the only result from setting
these kind of settings to bad default values is that it makes the user just
walk away from pulseaudio because he/her is disappointed and annoyed by a
series of small issues.
Personnally, this is my third attempt to get along with pulseaudio and it now
seems to work on my system. However, I am very dissatisfied with all the sound
issues and would just like to see an openSUSE running fine out of the box.
Please consider this thread for 12.3... make a openSUSE that is running
flawless, it would really please the community
