No, the first mentioned way (to preinstall Lithuanian packages before actual
installation) is not appropriate (but yes, I feel, that it will work). Because
it would try to install Lithuanian packages only once, and not will not
warranty to install after installation or then internet connection exist.
Yes, I understand, that Live installation media does not have Lithuanian
language and I don't request to include it.
I have Lithuanian system. I changed setting to "English (US)";
libreoffice-thesaurus-en-US package was installed additionally.
Then removed kde4-l10n-lt and yast2-trans-lt.
After that I changed setting to Lithuanian. Package manager was started, but it
did not installed any package.
In file:///var/lib/zypp/RequestedLocales I see lt_LT
I opened YaST Software manager Qt version,
In language tab Lithuanian is not preselected, so I mark It. Neither
kde4-l10n-lt or yast2-trans-lt is suggested to install. I try change option
"ignore recommended packages for already installed packages", but still neither
kde4-l10n-lt or yast2-trans-lt is suggested to install. (And kde4-l10n-lt,
yast2-trans-lt are not marked as taboo!).
Yes, it it desired way:
if I selected Lithuanian language in installation menu,
then install Lithuanian packages when possible (and ignore setting for YaST
option "ignore recommended packages for already installed packages"!).
