Systemd failed boot without "quiet" parameter
I made some tests.
1. If system is started without "splash quiet" parameters, it does inform you
about failed units (see attached screenshot). My question is - what were kernel
parameters when you used sysvinit?
2. If you log in emergency mode, you can use systemd-journalctl to see which
units failed. E.g.
Oct 01 20:31:36 linux-q652 systemd[1]: Job dev-foo.device/start timed out.
Oct 01 20:31:36 linux-q652 systemd[1]: Job remote-fs-pre.target/start failed
with result 'dependency'.
Oct 01 20:31:36 linux-q652 systemd[1]: Job local-fs.target/start failed with
result 'dependency'.
So I see that /dev/foo was not found.
