I haven't seen this problem for a little while, but that's perhaps because I've
had to reboot rather frequently for reasons unrelated to this reported problem,
so the problem hasn't had a chance to occur.
JFYI, I'm currently using 3.1.10-1.16-desktop from openSUSE 12.1
