When the bug started to appear, It indeed was the correct situation that an
older kernel made things work again. Also Windows didn't had any issues with
it, but this could be as that I found quite a number of reports on the internet
where they indicated that the lenovo power management driver for Windows is
doing a better job at fan control and thermal.
But I agree that this bug report is invalid. However based on the files
provided here to Rui, the other bug (bnc#767692) is still a valid one as that
the CPU speed is not restored to it's maximum after a thermal event if the
acpi_cpufreq module is not loaded.
