whereas distributor is a renamed variant of suse (to have the same name independent of the branding package)
On my system those are SUSE owned trademarks. As such, my original assertion, that they should only be usable under the trademark guidelines, still holds. Obviously, if somebody wants to swap those out with their own artwork, then the SUSE trademark guidelines would not apply and that person should add a copy of their own license. Can somebody check what RPM license tag Fedora use on their branding package? I'll add something similar to the spreadsheet linked at license.opensuse.org and we can use that as our RPM license. It would actually be a good idea to include a copy of the trademark guidelines in our branding packages and to install this to the system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
