The 12.1 Live KDE iso works on this system without problems. I downloaded the OpenSUSE-12.1-NET-i586.iso from download.opensuse.org. When I try to start the installation from it, the system loads the kernel, briefly flashes the opensuse boot screen, and then hangs with a black screen. No messages are ever printed to the screen. If I select "safe mode", the installation starts as expected Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert OpenSuse 12.1 32-bit network boot CD and boot 2. Choose "Start Installation" Actual Results: System loads the kernel and hangs with a blank screen Expected Results: Installation starts -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
