I have upgraded from openSUSE 12.2 Milestone 3 to Milestone 4. The upgrade
process went well but after i have rebooted the OS i`m not able to login in the
KDE Desktop using the new login prompt offered by Milestone 4. 

I have changed the user`s password from console and even tried to login with
root but the results are the same: no login in to the desktop and no errors
about any wrong username/password combination.

Logging in to console works for both the normal user but as well for user root.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade from openSUSE 12.2 Milestone 3 to Miltestone 4 using Factory repos
OSS and NON-OSS
2. Reboot the system once the upgrade is complete
3. Try to login with username and password
Actual Results:  
Even if the combination username/password is correct the desktop fails to load
and no errors appear.

Expected Results:  
After typing my username and password at the login prompt the KDE desktop
should have loaded.
