Hi Bruno,

You could try the testing packages now.

$ zypper ar --repo
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/michael-chang:/test:/grub2/openSUSE_12.1/home:michael-chang:test:grub2.repo

$ zypper ref
$ zypper dup --from home_michael-chang_test_grub2

And run
$ yast2 bootloader

Select Grub2 on bootloader selection menu, it would install more dependent
packages, when finish you could enable gfxmenu and background on "Boot Loader
Options".
