There is not much in /var/log/samba/log.smbd, since this machine is not a
server. The file just ends after a few lines on the installation date with
this:

[2011/09/15 14:59:13.543824,  0] passdb/pdb_interface.c:259(guest_user_info)
  guest_user_info: Unable to locate guest account [Nobody]!
[2011/09/15 14:59:13.543932,  0] smbd/server.c:1266(main)
  ERROR: failed to setup guest info.

I guess I did not need to update the samba package after all, just
samba-client, but I wanted to keep all in sync.

The actual print server is probably a Windows box. Should I talk to the admins
to try to get the log file from them?
