I tested 12.1 + Tumbleweed (kernel 3.3.0-16-desktop) against 12.2 Milestone 2
(kernel 3.3.0-rc6-1-default). Again in 12.1 the problem was still there and in
12.2 not. But then I checked the output of "sane-find-scanner -v" of both
versions and found in the 12.2-version an error message:
"libusb not available"
So I think, that the 12.2-version does not even read/write _any_ USB device and
is therefore not able to cause any problems.
This might by worth a bug report of its own. But my scanner is not attached by
USB and I cannot check, if sane-find-scanner is able to detect USB devices.
