y2log
Short version:
- add a public NTP server in yast2 ntp-client
- result: ntp complains about a syntax error in ntp.conf at startup
Detailed reproducer:
- start yast2 ntp-client
- click [Add]
- select "Server"
- click "Next"
- click [Select]
- click "Public NTP server"
- accept the given proposal (in my case: Germany / de.pool.ntp.org)
- click [OK] 3 times
- check /var/log/messages - it contains (date and hostname removed):
ntpd[25804]: line 73 column 1 syntax error, unexpected T_EOC, expecting
T_Default or T_Ipv4_flag or T_Ipv6_flag or T_String
ntpd[25804]: syntax error in /etc/ntp.conf line 73, column 1
line 73 of ntp.conf is
restrict
The generated ntp.conf and y2log are attached, no other logs in /var/log/YaST2
were modified.
