From bug #742198#c20:
However, I am unable to remove the patch lock with zypper: leo:~ # zypper ll There are no package locks defined. leo:~ # zypper patches | grep " 5589 " SLE11SP1-SERVER-TESTING | slessp1-tar | 5589 | recommended | Installed leo:~ # zypper al -t patch slessp1-tar Specified lock has been successfully added. leo:~ # zypper ll # | Name | Type | Repository --+-------------+-------+----------- 1 | slessp1-tar | patch | (any) leo:~ # zypper rl slessp1-tar Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... No lock has been removed. leo:~ # zypper rl -t patch slessp1-tar Unknown option '-t' leo:~ # zypper -t patch rl slessp1-tar Too many arguments. Usage: .. ----- Fortunately at least removing by lock-number works: zypper rl 1 also (at least with newer zypper versions) zypper rl patch:slessp1-tar And I also do not understand why removelock wants to refresh the repositories first. This bug most probably applies to all openSUSE and SLE versions. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
