Summary: X crashes immediately when opening running KDE console
from task list
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.4
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: X.Org
AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: ralf@xxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/10.0.2
When I open the already running KDE console window from the task list (e.g.
after KDE restart), the following crash of the intel_drv.so occurs with the
newest package xorg-x11-driver-video-7.6-270.1.x86_64.rpm from repository
X11:/Xorg. The older package build 264 didn't show this problem. Gladly I have
an private repository buffer to capture older versions of these repositories.
Could it be connected to the switch from intel driver 2.16.0 to 2.18.0?
Kernel 3.2.9-1, x86_64, 16 GB RAM, X11 from repository X11:/Xorg.
No xorg.conf used!
