Summary: Apper complains about modifying a package that isn't
installed.
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Applications
AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: volker3204@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.10
(like Gecko) SUSE
I get these quite often from apper:
"The package that is being modified was not found on your system or in any
software origin."
Trying to get the package name, clicking on "details" gives the very helpful
"couldn't find package".
It always happens during installing of updates. It seems that at least in this
case all updates have already been installed.
Reproducible: Always
