--- Comment #18 from Michael Andres 2012-02-16 13:07:30 CET ---
Result so far:
There's a vague hint in the zypp/history:
- 2012-01-31 09:02:50 dup finishes without obvious error.
- 2012-01-31 09:50:53 a bunch of new repos were added (packman, kde, ...)
- 2012-01-31 10:13:55 last 'successfull' install (without gpgkey warning)
The next action is at:
- 2012-01-31 17:09:08 installation of kernel-default and a bunch of other
packages. Now rpm warns about missing gpgkeys to check the packages signature.
Happens for almost all packages, even for repositories which worked in the
morning.
A 'zypper refresh' at 12:46 reported 36 gpgkeys in the rpm database.
The next zypper action 2012-02-02 reports just 11.
As the trunkated database lost some of it's gpg-pubkeys, truncation most
probably happened 2012-01-31 between 12:46 and 17:09.
But I can not spot any direct realation to a zypp/yast/pkgkit action. Maybe
some manual invocation of rpm, or interruption via ^C, or a filesystem
coruption, ... Hard to say.
Closing the bug, as ther's no hint that zypp caused it or could have detected
it.
