BACKUP_URI is of the form 'nfs://host/path/backup.tar.gz' so that 'mount -t nfs host:/path' works to access the backup file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Therefore your BACKUP_URI nfs://bender.suse.cz/storage/build113_nfs/rear-SUSE/hubert means a backup file named "hubert" in the directory nfs://bender.suse.cz/storage/build113_nfs/rear-SUSE/ but "hubert" is no regular file which results the error message. I think I should enhance the error message with the name of the backup file like "Error: The backup 'hubert' is no regular file" to make it more clear. The bug report is invalid for SLE11-SP2-HAE (no bug) but an enhancement of the error messages for the next product. Because there is not yet any SLE12 product in bugzilla, I move it to openSUSE 12.2 so that I can keep it as open issue. I assume you should use this BACKUP_URI nfs://bender.suse.cz/storage/build113_nfs/rear/hubert/backup.tar.gz Have in mind that BACKUP_URI and BASE_URI are different things. E.g. you could have them on different NFS servers. By the way: -d nfs://bender.suse.cz/storage/build113_nfs/rear-SUSE/hubert -m SLES-11-SP2-DVD-x86_64-GMC-DVD1.iso cannot work for you because there is no file nfs://bender.suse.cz/storage/build113_nfs/rear-SUSE/hubert/SLES-11-SP2-DVD-x86_64-GMC-DVD1.iso see "/usr/sbin/RecoveryImage -h" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -m specifies the medium: .. Alternatively MEDIUM_URI is either an absolute path to a local medium ISO file of the form '/path/to/medium.iso' or it is a relative path of the form 'path/to/medium.iso' which is relative to the base directory. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Furthermore you may like to specify explicitly -l log-to-base-dir except you really want to get the logs in /tmp/ on the local machine, see bug #742110 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
