Summary: /etc/sysconfig/ulimit has no effect on systemd based
systems
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: fcrozat@xxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: sbrabec@xxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---

In 11.4 it was possible to enable core files by editing /etc/sysconfig/ulimit.
Starting with 12.1, it is not possible any more. It seems that systemd does not
read this file at all.

It seems that systemd does not provide any feature that would allow to set
system wide limits.
