Will try that as soon as I have a chance to reboot the machine.


Perhaps it is related to the fact that encryption is layered:

/dev/sda3: LUKS encrypted file
 -  /dev/mapper/cr_sda3: LVM2 PV (Linux Logical Volume Manager)
    -  /dev/mapper/cr_mnt1: LUKS encrypted file

The setup used to work fine in previous versions of openSUSE and still works
fine with sysvinit-init instead of systemd-sysvinit.
