You need to read comments from 80 forward since there are now kernel level
patches being created to replace what CUPS no longer does now that Apple chose
to pooch the world.

The same type of fix is now needed for serial ports since Apple dropped them
both.

Thanks Apple.  Thanks for not being a company which understands anything about
business systems OR AN INSTALLED BASE!
