This keyboard and mouse are active on bios, and also on grub line. And have worked during the last years without any trouble. With kernel 3.1.0 (during 12.1 development, or if I boot on it) the keyboard is functional when the system boot up and ask for my key pass to unlock the encrypted md/lvm. This is no more the case with 3.2, the keyboard is detected later during the boot process. The second symptom is with kdm the keyboard has the en-us layout, then once in kde it has the fr-ch I wish. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install factory on a laptop on an encrypted lvm/md 2. Connect an external usb keyboard 3. Boot, try to type your passphrase with the external keyboard Actual Results: No way to get the external usb input devices to work I has to use the internal keyboard Expected Results: No regression, and doesn't loose fundamental functionality with kernel update dmesg output attached Has been tested with nvidia & nouveau module without any behaviour changes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
