https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=740798 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=740798#c0 Summary: kdenlive crashes before finishing rendering of video Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: zwilnik@zwilnik.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/535.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/16.0.912.75 Safari/535.7 kdenlive will begin rendering of video, but will crash before completing. the error message it gives is "Rendering of [filename] aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted". I have seen this discussed on both the openSUSE forum and the kdenlive forum, but I cannot find a bug opened for openSUSE. It appears that there was no problem with openSUSE 12.0, but many people are having the problem with openSUSE 12.1, so it seems appropriate to open a bug here. This happens for all output formats (e.g. MPEG, AVI, H.264). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Edit a video 2. Select an output format 3. Begin rendering 4. Crash Actual Results: In each case, the rendering failed with the error message "Rendering of [filename] aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted" Expected Results: Produced a watchable video -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
