Summary: lightdm won't start without a network connection
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Final
Platform: i586
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Xfce
AssignedTo: bnc-team-xfce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: taroth@xxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: Documentation
Blocker: ---

I use XFCE with lightdm as display manager. If a network connection is
available (ethernet or WLAN), lightdm shows up, but as soon as I boot without
any network connection around, I don't get to see lightdm (independent from
using NetworkManager or ifup for connecting).

However, logging in from command line works. From there, I can then start
lightdm as root.

Let me know if you need any logs or more information or output.
