Have a clean install of Opensuse 12.1 x86-64 with KDE default 4.7.2 
Have checked Synaptiks to auto start at login.
Whenever I boot into a new session in KDE the synaptiks window opens maximized.

I would expect the default behaviour for this would be for synaptiks to open in
the system tray?
