True, this is nVidia's job (if indeed the fault lies with the driver).
In any case though, such issues have been especially crippling,
since users are left with no options other than paying for new hardware
(not unlike Microsoft's legacy...), accepting a malfunctioning OS
or abandoning OpenSUSE all together.
This is finally solved with the official release of the 290.10-13.1
nVidia driver.
