https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733387 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733387#c0 Summary: When launching LibreOffice, it often wants to recover a file previously opened but saved, in the last time LO was used (exited normally). And real needed recovery seems not to work. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: LibreOffice AssignedTo: bnc-team-ooo@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: publio.escipion.el.africano@gmail.com QAContact: cwei@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:1206) openSuSE 12.1 x86_64 Final, KDE 4 Hello, and sorry for bother you, but when launching LibreOffice, it often wants to recover a file previously opened but rightly saved, during the last time LO was used (exited normally). Also, when needed (see bug 732885), the recovery doesn't work fine, because it loads a document exactly in the stage of the last saved copy, although I have set auto save recovery data in Preferences' Load/Save. (By the way, I can not find openSuSE 12.1 in the OS list in the "Enter a Bug" page: the list ends in 11.4. Thus I set SuSE other.) Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a document with LO (writer), save it, &c. (Also, it could be more than one.) 2.Close LO (writer) 3.Launch again LO: Often it will insist in recovery such file (s). 4.Do some work. 5.Provided LO crashes (for any suggestion, see bug 732885), recovery wizard does not recovery. Actual Results: When exited fine, LO often will insist in recovery such file (s) edited last time. But if it previously crashed (see bug 732885), recovery does not recover at all. Expected Results: If exited was fine, not recovery wizard. If exited wrong, recovery wizard worked. Concerning the option set in "Reproducibility", or frequency, "sometimes" is equal to "often". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
