Li Bin,
you could have helped me a lot if you wrote
in your initial comment under which circumstances
you get the 'cups-ipp-missing-validate-job'
instead of giving me an exercise to guess on my own
what "print the job" means in your particular case
because of course for me printing works, see
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:How_to_Report_a_Printing_Issue
------------------------------------------------------------------
Basically
Do not assume someone knows about your particular environment
and what you did.
------------------------------------------------------------------
The matching CUPS upstream report
http://www.cups.org/str.php?L3967
explains it:
------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary: Printing to Novell (non-CUPS?) IPP servers fails
with "cups-ipp-missing-validate-job"
Fix Version: Third-party

Having re-read http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/spec-ipp.html,
it looks like I was wrong about Validate-Job being an extension,
and so I apologise for that.

The Validate-Job operation is a required and standard IPP operation
going back to IPP/1.0. I'll look at the log, but on first glance
this appears to be a Novell IPP bug.

Looks like the (chunked) Print-Job request is failing.
This is a Novell IPP bug.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Accordingly I close this bug report as "invalid" because
this is no bug in CUPS.
Li Bin,
you may file a new bug report regarding whatever IPP server
you actually use (you did not tell) because this IPP server
does not support the required and standard IPP/1.0 operation
"Validate-Job".
If you do not use a real IPP server (e.g. a Novell iPrint server)
but a network printer via IPP, have a look at
http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/doc-1.5/network.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The AppSocket protocol (sometimes also called the JetDirect protocol,
owing to its origins with the HP JetDirect network interfaces) is
the simplest, fastest, and generally the most reliable network
protocol used for printers.
..
IPP is the only protocol that CUPS supports natively and is supported
by some network printers and print servers. However, since many
printers do not implement IPP properly, only use IPP when the
vendor actually documents official support for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Additionally if you think an automated downgrade to IPP/1.0
is a good idea for the ipp backend in CUPS, you may file
an enhancement request at CUPS upstream
via "Submit Bug or Feature Request" at
http://www.cups.org/str.php
