I did some basic tests and found the following results:
- The issue seems not to come from the small display resolution on my Acer
NEtbook (1024x600). When running opensuse 12.1 in VirtualBox, I can reduce the
screen size to 600x480, and the kdm login screen still is fine.
- Moving around and resizing the userlist does not help on my Netbook, still
only one user is visible.
- On my 12.1 installation in VirtualBox, everything realy looks fine.

Could that have something to do with the different aspect ratio?
What else could cause the problem? Maybe its a kdm bug?
