Summary: zypper should not warn about processes using deleted
files when using --root
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: libzypp
AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: harry@xxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/535.2 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Chrome/15.0.874.120 Safari/535.2

Note: This is actually a zypper issue, but I didn't find any category for it.

When bootstrapping build environments using the --root parameter, zypper
complains:

The following running processes use deleted files

I believe this is because list_processes_using_deleted_files doesn't honor the
--root parameter. Zypper should only warn about running processes if the files
are within the path specified with --root

Same goes for "zypper --root /foo ps" - it should only show processes with /foo
prefix

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a package with the --root parameter
2. Remove it again
Actual Results:
Warning on console:

The following running processes use deleted files

Expected Results:
No warning
