Firefox/7.0.1
NET install on office LAN from local FTP server, no proxy configuration
supplied. Network cable is attached & connected to LAN. Note proxy would be
required for public www access but this is not required for the installation.
Install runs OK until timezone / clock page when NTP is invoked, system then
freezes until ? timeout. I can then give internal (private) NTP server details
and installation continues as expected.
Earlier versions of 12.1 (and previous releases) did not do this. I have used
this box for test installations for several years now!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install while connected to LAN behind proxy without supplying credentials
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Long wait during NTP set-up
Expected Results:
No significant delay
